Pine Mushrooms - Giveaway
« on: May 14, 2017, 08:50:55 AM »
Collected a lot of pine mushrooms yesterday for ourselves plus friends and family. Still have loads left, so if anyone is around Goodwood today, you're free to grab some.

Cheers

Have been giving some to the neighbors and I'm taking some to work tomorrow for some vego colleagues. So if anyone in the CBD tomorrow want some, there will be extras available. My office is corner Pulteney and North Terrace.

Cheers

Pine mushrooms don't last more than 3-4 days, so it's best to pick them yourself. Let alone there's heaps of porcini this year, so pine mushrooms, naturally somewhat lose their appeal. A good feed otherwise.

I was talking to someone the other day who had managed to successfully establish a tree innoculated with porcini in their yard. I didnt realise how sought after it was, they are going to excessive lengths to fence it off so it is not stolen in the middle of the night.
