While I may be close enough to stagger home, assuming there's no wheelbarrow service operating, is there an availability for swagging it, even on the back lawn or something?

I'm pretty sure swag room is a prerequisite for hosting a swap.

Hopefully I never end up operating that wheelbarrow service again.
I have nothing interesting to add here.

Swag on the lawn? It is winter, I have a rumpus room for about 8 people, first in gets a plush queen bed, 2nd-3rd get couches, then plenty of swap room. There is also a motel on my back fence Manhattan Comfort Inn.

Get your name on the list......

The ability to book rooms by the hour comes in handy ;)

Managed to talk a recently retired workmate into coming down from Wentworth for the night. A kit brewer/shiner who's in the process of building a 3 vessle looking to get a bit of knowledge on the subject. Top bloke, goes by the name of Fossil or Foss for short.
Most likely swag it on your lawn Glycol.

GlycolGlen (fka Glenbrew) is hosting the case swap on Saturday the 14th of October in Enfield.

The case swap starts at 3pm and finishes around 10-11pm.

Food for the day will start with wood oven pizzas 3-4pm and finish with lamb spit 2 ways, in a yiros's or with salad and roast veg from 6pm
Catering is $10 a person.

Everyone is welcome.
Cheers.

Location: GlycolGlen's - Enfield SA
Date: 14th October 2017

The Case Swap is a good chance for brewers to get together to enjoy beer, talking brewing and of course talking crap. Attendees typically bring a keg or bottles of homebrew beer along to share. This is an awesome chance to try the variety of homebrew that the Brew Adelaide community produce.

Good people, good food and of course good beer. All welcome.

I briefly thought I might be a chance to get to this when I realised that it's in the middle of the exam period. Then I realised that it's the first fund-raiser for the cricket season, so if both of my exams are in the first week I'll be at the club until stumps. Case swap dates haven't been my friend for the last couple of years.
I have nothing interesting to add here.

Bump.  Only 11 swappers so far, makes bottling easy.
I`m brewing my swap beer in the next day or two.

With the amount of people that peruse this forum it boggles my mind that only 11 are willing to swap.
Y'all non swappers are missing out imo.

I`m brewing my swap beer tonight, also popping my new rigs cherry so should be interesting.
Carting 60L of water from the filter tap in the sink in the kitchen out to the shed then up to my
raised HLT urn is quite a chore, and needs some engineering.

I`m brewing youse a Red IPA.

Shhh Dez, less is more sometimes, esp. when it comes to bottling.

For any shadow dwellers who havn't been to a case swap before, the real spirit of the case swap is
not the swap itself, it's the sampling and sharing of beers brewed and tasted from the wall of beer.
If you don't feel up to swapping,  just attending and bringing some of your best ( or , interesting ) beer
to share and shit talk is the way to go.

A fuck it, put me down as a swapper. I'll have a look at what cubes i have in the shed, if nothing goods there i'll try and remember how to use my rig and do a black ipa or something.

I have some sacks of JW base malt here that are ~6-8 months old. I'll bring them with me as i'd like to get a couple dollars back on them. There may be a munich there as well.

What's a 16 hour drive to drink beer?

Just following on from what others have said you shouldn't feel like your beer should be award winning or up to a certain standard to swap.

It's a great way of getting feedback from a range of people with differing experiences which you can use to improve your brews.

For seasoned swappers the more beers that are swapped the more interesting it is.
