3v brewery possible sale
« on: December 21, 2017, 12:44:09 AM »
Just putting out the feelers to see if there is any interest.
I've had this set up for a while although the mash tun has probably done 5 brews.
I would say $1100 bucks would see it go and would come with a march pump.

40L urn with ball lock tap
10gal ss brew tech mash tun
70L kettle with thermometer and beer belly hop screen.
Nasa burner with high pressure regulator.

Happy to knock off a couple hundred if you don't need the urn.

Nice looking rig mate! Although a slightly undersized hlt, otherwise solid. Should sell easily.
Why are you thinking of selling?
Let me guess, going to buy a grainfather?
Also fancies pellicles.

thanks Dez. I haven't noticed my hlt being too small i usually heat up my strike water then tip the sparge water once the mash is going.

And yes i have been toying with the idea of a grain father but im still undecided ill be doing some more research over the next couple of weeks.

Dont suppose you have a mill for sale?

If you decide to seperate, i might be keen on the burner and reg

sorry mate still using the mill. if i split the brewery i would have to wait till all of it was spoken for otherwise i would have nothing to brew with, but im open to splitting it.

I'm open to splitting this if people are keen on some of the gear, I have already got someone interested in the urn but the rest of it is up for grabs.

Mash tun $350 still in brand new condition hasn't had much use
70L Kettle $200 had a fair amount of use but still in good nick
Nasa and reg $50 the reg is only a few months old the nasa is well used but still in fine working order.

If someone was getting into AG this would be a steal $600 and you can brew beer.

I reckon there's a really good chance that I'll be keen for this. I'll have a look at my finances tomorrow, but I'm confident that I can make it work.
I have nothing interesting to add here.

I'm going to hold off until closer to the end of next year. I can't brew for about 18 months, so there's no value in me buying stuff now.

DJ, that tun looks sensational, but have you found 37L to be slightly small? My 50L tun was slightly too small if I wanted 50L of a 1.060 beer. I thought it was bigger when I was looking at it last night half asleep.

Pirate, a 70L kettle and a NASA is exactly what you want for double batches.

Clint, when have you seen me with a cheque book?
I have nothing interesting to add here.

Mark the dirtypirate has first dibs on the burner but I may also be keen...

Does it have a stand by chance? And I'm guessing medium pressure reg?

Would be a definate upgrade from my 4 ring that my kettle sits on a funny angle
