Thermometers and silicone hose
« on: May 12, 2018, 07:05:02 AM »
Gday all,

Just curious as to whether anyone is in the market for some silicone hose or thermometers... personally I am down to my last thermometer (which I conveniently couldn't find yesterday for brew day so did the old mash in, check, add boiling water, check, add cold, check them wipe the sweat from my brow when I landed bang on target...

I also seem to have lost 2m of silicone hose I used for transferring... suspect the MIL threw it away as it was fairly discoloured... she did babysit for me though so not complaining too much

I am happy to get some bulk prices (thinking 50m hose) and iirc the thermometers come in boxes of 10...

Just want to know if there is any interest?

Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital ingredient in beer

I'm not interested while I'm between breweries, but having 5-10m of silicon hose and being able to cut off what you want is really handy.
I have nothing interesting to add here.

I'm keen on a couple thermometers for sure.
Also fancies pellicles.

I might be interested in both.
Funds are tight at the moment, so once the price is narrowed down I'll see if I can make it work!

Probably the same scientific thermometers we ordered last time. Came in around $3 each (need to buy in lots of 10) and iirc the silicone hose was 10-12 per meter...

Sorry got a bit caught up with life the last few days. Back at work tomorrow so will shoot out some emails
